SUMMER RUN TO THE ROYAL GEELONG YACHT CLUB

SUNDAY 1ST MARCH 2020

The Royal Geelong Yacht Club (RGYC) is the venue for our Summer Run. The RGYC club rooms overlook the marina and Corio Bay with views through to the You Yangs. The Club's history dates back to 1859, making it one of the oldest established yacht clubs in Australia.

This time of year is very busy at the club as it is hosting many international and local sailing events. We are fortunate to find a date, Sunday March 1st, that is available to us so we can enjoy the food of Richard Kelly from the RK Group. Richard Kelly has provided lunch before in 2015 at the club. He is known locally for providing innovative and first class cuisine in the region. He has put a special menu together for this event, which includes canapés on the lawn when we arrive, drinks to own account can be purchased from the main club bar, followed by alternate entrée and mains, so make sure you don't miss out.

As usual we will meet at the Caltex Service Centre, Werribee for a pleasant run through the hills with morning tea at the Ballan CFA.

Hope to see you there,

David Turner
