Boxster & Cayman Register Batesford Run

Sunday 10th February

Welcome to our first run of the new year. We'll be doing things a little differently re the start but then you can look forward to a country run on very Porsche friendly roads.

We're starting the day with morning tea in the picturesque Bacchus Marsh Avenue of Honour. We'd like to see everyone there at around 10am. (so you can still have a small sleep in) for morning tea of homemade cakes and perhaps a little browsing at the nearby strawberry / berry farms or local produce outlets.

After morning tea we'll get underway and drive through some pretty country side before ending our run at the Batesford Hotel just outside of Geelong. The hotel is set alongside the Moorabool River and boasts an award winning chef.

The three course menu is an entree of dipping breads with olives, olive oil & basil and house made dukkah as well as garlic bread. For mains there is chicken filled with Meredith goats cheese & basil, topped with a tropical fruit salsa served with chats and vegetables, alternating with braised beef cheeks with wine gravy, chats and vegetables. For sweets we have alternative drops of Sticky Date pudding or Summer Berry pavlova.

After lunch the new ring road is two minutes away and it's freeway all the way home.

Meeting Point / Morning Tea: Mona's Cafe, 432 Bacchus Marsh Rd (part of the Big Apple Fruit Shop). Take the first exit to Bacchus Marsh from the freeway and drive down the Avenue of Honour until you see the venue on your left.

Cost: $50 Includes morning tea and 3 course lunch. Drinks to own account on the day.
