Mid 911 Overnight Run to Walhalla

Saturday 17th October 2015 and Sunday 18th October 2015

Come for a drive through the picturesque Gippsland landscape. 

We stay overnight in the historic town of Walhalla. 

Deep in the Victorian Alps, Walhalla was a boomtown of the gold era. 

We have booked 12 rooms at the Star Hotel.  The bookings include accommodation, 2 course dinner and a continental breakfast for 2 persons. 

We start at Officer, stop for coffee in Korumburra, onto Moe for a cafe lunch, and then continue to Walhalla. 

Late on Sunday morning we take a 1 hour train ride throuhg the valley to the Thompson River and back. 

Optional extras include a Ghost Tour Saturday night and/or a Gold Mine Tour Sunday afternoon. 

At time of booking indicate dietary requirements or if the options are wanted.  You can also request 2 single beds if a king size bed is not suitable. 

MEETING TIME:  0930 for 1000 departure

MEETING LOCATION:  BP/McDonalds, 65 Princess Freeway, Officer.  MEL WAY 214 E7 (outbound on M1, 2kms past Officer Exit)

COST:  $320.00 per couple (12 rooms only so book early to avoid disappointment)

INCLUDED:  1 night accommodation, 2 course dinner and a continental breakfast for 2 persons.  1 hour train ride on Sunday morning.  Morning coffee, lunch and drinks to own account.
