This is the quickest 996 Turbo in Australia, having originally been developed by Matt Close for tarmac rallying.

Matt won the Targa Tasmania Prologue in this car in 2008, beating Jim Richards in a 997 GT2, and dominated the Early Modern category with consistent class wins. The car has finished 5th, 6th and 7th outright in Targa Tasmania, 4th and 5th outright at Mt Buller, and 3rd outright in the Noosa Suncoast Rally.

Car has more recently competed in Outright club competition driven by Club Champion, Andy Barlow, with outright podiums every time out.

The car has had a recent $35k engine rebuild by Weltmeister, with all new parts. Full receipts available. Has travelled less than 2,000kms since new engine.

The car has full carbon interior (a $15k option), Aero Body Kit ($14k option) and factory GPS and Bose 10 speaker stereo (currently removed from car for weight saving). Also comes with all original parts to return car to road spec if desired (original exhaust, door trims, springs, steering wheel, GPS, stereo, etc.)
